"Surprisingly smooth airport experience with Garuda"
I flew with Garuda Indonesia last week and had a really good experience at the airport. I’m usually wary of customer service because I’ve had plenty of situations where staff act like you’re a problem for asking anything, but this was different. The check-in team stayed calm and explained things clearly, even though the line was getting longer. I also had a small baggage issue, and one of the ground staff helped me sort it out without making me feel like I was annoying them, which I really appreciated. Boarding was organized too. The staff were polite, quick, and seemed like they actually knew what they were doing. I didn’t expect to be this impressed, but credit where it’s due. 5 stars from me.
"Final price came too late"
The experience was okay overall, but the final price showed up a bit too late for me, which was frustrating. On top of that, the reminders felt aggressive, like I kept getting pushed before I even had all the info I needed.
"Really helpful baggage support"
My bag was delayed, the baggage support team was really helpful and kept me updated the whole time. They made the process way less stressful and I got my luggage back sooner than I expected.

"Comfortable flight with Garuda"
I flew with Garuda Indonesia sometime last week, or maybe it was the week before, I can’t remember exactly. Either way, I was really happy with the seat. There was enough legroom, and the cushion didn’t feel stiff or uncomfortable like on some other airlines. I could actually sit back and relax without feeling squished. Even after a few hours, my back felt fine, which is such a simple thing but makes a big difference. I’d definitely fly with them again

"Cancellation was handled better than expected"
I had to cancel my flight at the last minute, i was already expecting a big hassle and maybe at least an apology for how stressful the whole thing felt. But the steps on Garuda Indonesia were easy to follow, and I got the confirmation email faster than I thought I would.
The refund update did take a bit of checking on my end, which was slightly annoying, but support replied and explained things in a simple way. The money came back within the timeframe they gave me, so I can’t really complain too much. Not absolutely perfect, but for a cancellation, it went much smoother than expected. 5 stars from me.

When I got on the plane, the first thing I noticed was how clean and fresh the cabin felt. The seats looked tidy, and everything seemed well taken care of. I settled in quickly and felt comfortable for the whole flight.

I had to cancel my flight and I was ready for it to be a whole annoying process with lots of waiting, but Garuda handled the refund smoothly and the money showed up back in my account faster than I thought it would, so yeah no big drama and I’m happy with how it went.

The lounge itself was really comfy and a nice place to relax, so no complaints there. But the food was a bit of a letdown, whoever’s handling that side could definitely step it up a little.

"Okay flight, but the entertainment was a letdown"
The flight itself was fine, but the whole experience started off annoying because I had to wait in a long queue before boarding. Once I got on, the in-flight entertainment felt outdated. The screen kept lagging, there weren’t many good movie options, and the sound cut out a few times. For a long trip, I really expected something better.

"Online check-in didn’t work"
I tried to check in online ahead of time, but it just wouldn’t go through. When I got there, the staff seemed a bit unsure about what was going on, which made the whole process more frustrating than it needed to be. Maybe it was just a system issue that day, but it didn’t feel very organized from my perspective.

"Warm service made the flight feel easy"
I flew with Garuda Indonesia last week, the cabin crew was the highlight for me. They were really polite, always smiling, and one of them helped me with my bag before I even had to ask properly. The food was just okay and the seat was fine, nothing too fancy, but the service felt warm and calm the whole way. If you’re choosing between airlines and good cabin service matters to you, I’d say Garuda is a solid option. I’d be happy to fly with them again

"Booking was more frustrating than it needed to be"
I managed to get through it in the end, but the booking pages loaded so slowly and then the payment screen confused me twice, so I ended up having to restart my search again, which wasn’t the absolute worst experience ever but it was definitely annoying and made the whole thing feel way more frustrating than it should have been.

"App could definitely be smoother"
I tried using the Garuda Indonesia app to manage my flight, it was kind of frustrating. It kept loading for ages, and at one point it logged me out while I was looking at seat options. The payment page froze too, so I had to go back and start again, which wasn’t great. I also tried the website on my phone, but it didn’t feel much better. I did eventually find the flight info I needed, so it worked in the end, but even the basic stuff took more attempts than it should. For an airline like Garuda, I’d expect the app to be a bit more reliable and smoother overall
"Helpful Call Center, Just a Slightly Confusing Start"
I had to call Garuda Indonesia to change my flight time, and I was relieved that it wasn’t a stressful experience. I only waited around 5 minutes before getting through, which felt reasonable. The agent was calm and explained the fee clearly, so I didn’t feel confused or worried about what I was paying for. They helped me complete the change over the phone, which made everything feel a lot easier. The only part that threw me off a bit was the automated menu at the beginning, it wasn’t super clear at first. But overall, I felt taken care of and the service was good.

Booked my flight on garuda-indonesia.com it felt safe the whole way through. The payment page looked legit, there weren’t any weird pop-ups or shady crap going on, and my e-ticket showed up fast. I also liked that I could log in and check my booking details without digging through a bunch of annoying bullshit. Overall, it just made me feel like everything was handled properly.
